Frost has been 'backed' which means that I have sat on him bareback a number of times. Frost is ready to be introduced to the saddle as he accepts being mounted from a makeshift mounting block with no uneasiness/discomfort.
As of 3/2005 Frost is trained to:
load/unload from a horse trailer
lead with a leadrope 'wrapped' into a makeshift halter
stand quietly to have his hooves trimmed
stand quietly to be groomed
generally show good ground manners
