Bint Marhaba

Updated 1/30/03: I tried, but I just couldn't do it. Melissa is simply too nice a mare to sell.

Original 2/2002: Melissa was purchased from a local/small auction - proof that high quality horses can be obtained at local auctions. Melissa has become an easy horse to catch and handle. Although still not perfect with her feet, she does not attempt to resist; she just has no clue what the crazy human wants.

Note to those of you who want my help getting papers on your horses from the farm that sold Melissa (and Diamond) at auction. I can't help you. I insisted on having the papers IN HAND before I would give a single cent to the auction. As it was it took over a year to get the paperwork signed on the foal that Diamond was carrying and I started asking before he was born - and yes, the papers on the foal were promised at the auction. Some of you bought your horses at auction without the promise of papers and some of you were promised papers which you never received. I AM sorry, but I can't help you. Contacting me repeatedly because I got papers on my horses is not going to change that. You know who you bought your horse(s) from; they are the ones that you need to contact.
